At HHM we are committed to providing a 5 star service in the most environmentally sustainable and business responsive way. As we are a unique business, and in conjunction with the Green Tourism Business Scheme, we are currently in the process of designing our own bespoke environmental policy.
As part of our committment to responsible and sustainable policies, HHM operate the following Green Policy:
- Ensure good environmental practices in all aspects of our head office function
- Minimise head office waste through recycling, reducing and reusing materials where appropriate
- Monitoring the use of natural resources and support the 'turn me off' policy on all electrical and lighting units within head office
- Encouraging our staff to car share for commuting and attending business meetings
- Communication with customers through e-mail rather than paper based mail, including monthly invoicing
- Communication with associates through e-mail including weekly work and bookings details
- Supporting our letting and marketing agents by offering recycling notices and information on the nearest facilities in all holiday letting properties
- Offering a 'Green Clean' service by using micro fibre re-usable cleaning cloths and minimising the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Two members of our management team have successfully completed the Practical Environmental Management course with the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM)
- We have the services of a Domestic Energy Assessor available for all customers
