Property Maintenance

Frontline Property Maintenance

For Frontline Property Maintenance calls our maintenance operator will visit the property for fault diagnosis and to complete any minor repairs, up to and including 15 minutes on site. This service is particularly useful for holiday rentals where staying guests may call for small maintenance issues which can be quickly resolved. The service is available as part of our 'on-call' service 365 days a year.

For holiday letting customers we will respond to calls from staying guests if appropriate, and will normally address minor issues without prior consultation with the property owner. In this way property owners have the benefit of a complete 'hands-off' service, and staying guests can receive a prompt response to property related issues.

General Property Maintenance

In each location we have access to a pool of pre-vetted subcontractors who can tackle the following general property maintenance issues:

  • Repairing/ replacing loose fittings
  • General servicing / repairing
  • Repairing/ replacing broken appliances
  • Carpet, fabric and upholstery Work
  • Gardening; exterior cleaning, patios etc

Qualified Trades

In each location we have sourced and vetted a pool of qualified trades, many of whom are available at short notice. For most jobs we can arrange for a free quotation where required:

  • Electrical, plumbing, corgi gas
  • Joinery, masonry, carpentry
  • Roofing, glass replacement

Homecover Services

For peace of mind, many customers take out boiler and heating cover. For customers who sign up through our bulk agreement homecover service we will contact the service engineer and make arrangements for access in response to a heating or boiler problem. Additional options also include full plumbing and electrical & wiring cover. The standard service provides a guarantee to respond to calls within 24 hours. If there is a delay for a service engineer call for a boiler breakdown, we can provide portable heaters to cover the time until full heating is restored.

Gas Safety Certificate

For customers with a domestic gas supply, it is a legal requirement to have an annual gas safety check conducted by a registered Corgi engineer for rental properties. The safety check will cover the boiler as well as any additional gas appliances such as cookers and fires.

Fire Risk Assessment

This is a mandatory requirement for all guest accommodation. VisitBritain (the English Tourist Board) will be asking to see evidence of a fire risk assessment from 2008 for all star rated properties.

PAT Testing

To comply with the Electrical Safety Regulations, regular PAT testing will ensure that electrical equipment is fit and safe for use.

White Goods

We can supply and fit a wide range of kitchen white goods at extremely competitive rates.
